Rasamanjari 2013 successfully enthralls the audience with the magnificent level of musical entertainment provided by the seven guest artists who came all the way from India and local talents alike. The show managed to capture the level of enthusiasm in the people, as the artists Akanksha Badami, Santosh Venky, Dinesh Kinnigoli, Deepak Jaisheelan, Rajgopal Acharya, Praksah Antony and Rajesh Bhagavath performed brilliantly.

Rasamajari 2013 all set to rock the stage as artists arrive from India today. Rasamanjari guest singer Akanksha Badami, Santosh Venky, Dinesh Kinnigoli along with popular musicians Deepak Jayasheelan, Prakash Antony, Rajgopal Acharya & Rajesh Bhagavath arrived in Kuwait at 7:30 pm on Wednesday 17 April 2013. The guests were given a warm welcome at the Kuwait Airport by the President and other committee members of Tulu Koota Kuwait

Tulu Koota Kuwait is very excited to announce its weight loss contest – “The TKK Biggest Loser Contest 2013 – Season 2”, open to all Indian Nationals. Its main goal is to motivate everyone to lose weight & stay healthy.

First and foremost, the Management Committee members expressed their gratitude to the Ambassador for the overwhelming support being extended by him towards the events and activities of Tulu Koota Kuwait. The TKK President Mr. Ramesh Kidiyoor presented TKK calendar 2013 and Calendar of events to the Ambassador.

Tulu Koota Kuwait Family Picnic 2013 was held on Friday, 15 February at Mishref Garden as always was a grand success.

The Picnic was inaugurated with hoisting of the Tulu Koota Kuwait Flag by President Mr. Ramesh Kidiyoor. As a symbol of peace advisory and Management committee members released doves and balloons on the occasion. A Grand March past was arranged and conducted by Mr. Suresh Shyam Rao followed by four Teams, Koti Chennaya, Bappa Baeri, Jaya Vijaya, Dev Poonja, while the TKK cheer girls and cheer boys cheered them all the way. The President, Mr. Ramesh Kidiyoor in his opening speech asked everyone to enjoy the Family picnic with a spirit of sportsmanship. The Sports secretary Mr. Ronald D’Souza declared picnic open by breaking the coconut.

The 2nd consecutive Tulu Koota Kuwait calendar 2013 was released at the Indian Public School with great enthusiasm. The TKK committee members relate to the calendar with great pride as it is the only calendar released in Kuwait that included all Kuwait Holidays as well as the Indian Festivals along with the beginning of all the Tulu Months.

With the successful completion of one year of Tulu speaking class, Tulu Koota Kuwait is pleased to announce the resumption of its classes for the second year.

Tulu Koota Kuwait held its Annual General Body meeting on Friday 14th December 2012 at Indian Community School auditorium, Salmiya. Mr. Ramesh Kidiyoor was unanimously re-elected as President of “Tulukoota Kuwait” for the year 2013.

Continuing with its trend towards social welfare, Tulu Koota Kuwait successfully conducted the Blood Donation Camp at Jabriya Blood Bank on Friday, 30th November 2012, from 2.00 to 6.00 pm. The Blood Donation Camp was organized under the Presidentship of Mr.Ramesh Kidiyoor with the able coordination of the Welfare Officer Mr.Suresh Shyam Rao.

Rang Taranga artists and the local artists rock the stage at Tulu Parba 2012. The audience loved the dual super hit dramas of “Ill Badk” and “Aye Subage?” that was held in the Liberation Theatre, Khaifan on 22nd & 23rd November 2012 under the Presidentship of Mr. Ramesh Kidiyoor and well coordinated by Cultural Secretary, Mr. Ronald D’Souza.

“Rang Taranga” troupe artists arrive in Kuwait to rock the stage of Tulu Parba 2012, 22 and 23 November. They will be performing two Tulu dramas “Ill Badk” & “Aye Subage?” The troupe is led by Samaj Ratna, Shri Leeladhar Shetty from Kaup.

It stars well-known comedian, Sandeep Shetty and has captivating music directed by Sharath Uchila. The dramas are credited with more than 150 successful shows in India and other Gulf countries and are confident of keeping the Kuwait audiences in splits through out the show. Tulu Koota Kuwait Competitions were held at the Indian Community School Khaitan with great enthusiasm and excitement. There were lots of traditional and contemporary games for children and adults alike. The program started with a warm welcome from our upcoming generation, the children of Tulu Koota Kuwait, Aditi Suvarna & Neil Sanctis. They set the mood for the day with their beautiful smiles and warmth. A welcome prayer was sung by the Mr. Purandar Manchi. The program kick started with words of inspiration from Mr. Ramesh Kidiyoor, the President of Tulu Koota Kuwait and the lighting of the lamp by the members of the Management Committee and Program Co-ordinator Mrs. Sushma Bangera.

Tulu Koota Kuwait bid farewell to Mr.S.M.Farooq with a heavy heart at the New Salmiya Playschool, Rumaithiya on 24th August 2012.

Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I'll miss you, until we meet again!We hope this is true with Mr. S. M. Farooq’s farewell, and we get to meet him soon enough in his native land of Mangalore. Mr. S.M. Farooq is an Executive Member of Tulu Koota Kuwait and well known was his charming ways in the Association.

Applications are now being invited for “Tulukoota Kuwait Merit Cum Means Scholarship” to be awarded during Tuluparba 2012 scheduled to be held on 11th & 12th October 2012.

When hearts are full, words fail. It was just the case at the Indian Public School hall, on Friday 1st June 2012, where Tulu Koota Kuwait gave Mr. Vivek Rao a warm farewell.

Rasamanjari 2012, presented by Tulu Koota Kuwait, successfully enthralls the audience as mesmerizing performances, live enthusiastic music, and extravagant stage settings marked the evening of 25th May 2012 at the American International School. Tulunadu crowds turned out in large numbers to witness this melodious event. The Audience were warmly welcomed by an elegant classical dance presentation by “Rhythm Scapes”. The event was inaugurated by lighting of the lamp by Chief Guest Mr. Lawrence Pinto, a senior citizen and well-known personality in Kuwait, the Management Committee and the Advisory Committee members of Tulu Koota Kuwait.

Yet another day filled with fun, frolic and entertainment was enjoyed as TuluKoota Kuwait presented a Family Picnic for all its members on 23rd March 2012 at the Mishref Garden, Kuwait. This year picnic also proved a wonderful, thrilling and fun loving experience for a gathering of more than 1000 people.

“TULU SIRI” the first ever Tulu Teaching classes in Kuwait was inaugurated by Tulu Koota Kuwait on February 10th, 2012 at Indian Public School Kuwait, with great deal of enthusiasm and excitement. The TULU SIRI concept has been received with great respect and pride in the Tulu Speaking Community. The excitement of the children, who came along with their parents to enroll themselves, was a treat to watch.

The Management Committee members expressed their gratitude to the Ambassador for the overwhelming support being extended by him towards the events and activities of Tulu Koota Kuwait. The 2012 calendar of events and the newly introduced TKK calendar 2012 were also presented to the Ambassador.

The launch of ‘Tulu Koota Kuwait Calendar 2012’ marked the commencement of a bright & successful year ahead by the new team of Tulu Koota Kuwait committee members. The TKK Calendar 2012 was released by the Sponsor & Senior Member of TKK’s Advisory Committee Mr. Nakre Satishchandra Shetty and the President of Tulu Koota Kuwait Mr. Ramesh Kidiyoor.on 20th January, 2012, at the All Committee Meeting held at Indian Public School.

Tulu Koota Kuwait witnessed the emergence of a new enthusiastic team of Managing Committee members at the 12th Annual General Meeting of Tulu Koota Kuwait held at Indian Community School (Sr. Girls), Salmiya, on Friday, 16th December, 2011, who affirmed their willingness to work for the progress and welfare of the Tuluvas, like their predecessors.

Tulukoota Kuwait celebrated its 11th Tuluparba on Friday, 4th November 2011 at American International School Hawally. The highlight of this year Program was Tulu Drama” Ajjigerla ijji” written by Harish Padubidri, directed by Ronald D’souza.

The beautiful classical dance presented by “Rhythm Scapes” choreographed by Ms Sangeeta Prasad provided a flying start to the “RASAMANJARI-2011” celebrations held by Tulu Koota Kuwait on Friday, April 29, 2011, at the American International School, Maidan Hawally. Tulunadu crowd turned out in large numbers to witness the melodious event. Rasamjari-2011 was inaugurated by lighting of the lamp by Chief Guests for the event Mr. Satishchandra Shetty, Mr. John Paul Fernandes, Mr. Felix D’souza Al Rathath along with Tulu Koota Kuwait Culture Secretary Ronald D’souza & President Mrs.Swarna Shetty, and other Managing Committee members.

As promised the 11th Annual Family Picnic of Tulukoota Kuwait at Mishref Garden on Friday March 4th 2011 was thrilling and fun loving experience for a gathering of over 900 people. Despite the dusty weather Tulukoota Kuwait members showed up in large numbers and took part in the fun filled activities and games arranged for them. This years picnic too proved to be yet another unique and wonderful experience surpassing the audiences expectations. Delicious breakfast was sponsored and arranged by committee members Harish Bhandary, Yadunath Alva & Govind Babu.

Since its inception in Year 2000 Tulukoota Kuwait has been greatly supported by Patrons, Sponsors & Donors. Our Patrons Sponsors and Donors provide us a vital source of inspiration guidance, financial assistance, that supports a whole range of our social cultural and philanthropic activities.

The Management committee members expressed their thankfulness for the overwhelming support being extended by the Indian ambassador H.E Ajay Malhotra for Tulukoota Kuwait activities. The 2011 calendar of events was also presented to the Indian embassy.

People arrived in huge numbers to have a free medical check-up and went home with a satisfaction of being able to have a doctor consultation. The Medical Camp specially took place for all the people who do not have the opportunity or facility to undergo regular medical checkups at a regular clinic.
