Tulu Koota Kuwait mourns the demise of Lancy Pinto Nayak

Tulu Koota Kuwait is deeply saddened by the untimely demise of its Founder Convener Lancy Pinto Nayak and share the grief with the bereaved family on this great loss.

Lancy Pinto Nayak was the real Architect of Tulu Koota Kuwait. What he had conceptualized and sown the seed with few members of diverse backgrounds 16 years back, has grown into a big a purposeful tree. His vision, zeal, enthusiasm and commitment as Founder Convener has helped Tulu Koota Kuwait, blossom into a strong and vibrant socio- cultural association. His dynamic stewardship of cultural activities of the Koota in the initial toddler stage has set a very high Standard. Tulu Koota Kuwait is really indebted to him.

Lancy Pinto Nayak was multitalented person. His contribution to the art and literary field was enormous. Entering the literary field at the very young age of 15 years, has written more than 200 short stories, hundreds of articles, poems, humor, reviews and interviews. He is the author of more than a dozen novels, many skits and plays and Radio dramas. His contribution to Konkani literature was recognized with many Awards and Accolades by various Government and Public Cultural Bodies and Academies. Recognizing his contribution Kuwait writers Forum elected him as president of the Forum.
