Managing Committee 2016 of Tulu Koota Kuwait were unanimously elected

The new managing committee members of Tulu Koota Kuwait 2016 were unanimously elected and Mr. Harish Bhandary emerged as the President of the association.

The event commenced with a prayer song rendered by Mr. Madhav Naik, Bhavani Naik, and Mr. Raghavendra Naik followed by the lighting of lamp by the Managing Committee & Advisory Committee 2015.

The event well hosted by Mr. Vishu Shetty, began with presentation of Annual Report by General Secretary Mr.Wilson D'Souza followed by the presentation of financial report by the Treasurer, Mr. Vijay Kairangala. Both reports were approved by the audience. Mr. Tharendra Shettigar, outgoing President thanked one and all who helped in the smooth running of the association during his speech. Mementos were then given away to the main donors for the project “Glimmer of Hope” and to the outgoing Managing Committee 2014 and 2015 as a token of appreciation.

The returning officer, Mr. Lionel Mascarenhas then announced the new Managing Committee as follows:

The Managing Committee of 2016 while introducing themselves thanked everyone for electing them and assured of giving the best of services during their tenure in office. The newly elected President, Mr. Harish Bhandary, in his speech thanked all the committee members for electing him and expressed the team’s intention to make more provisions for the members of the association in the upcoming year.

The cultural program that followed thereafter, hosted by Mr. Purander Manchi, was an amalgamation of dance, music and drama. Children and adults danced on various songs, offered soulful display of their voice along with rib tickling comedy skits. The cultural program was concluded by Santa joyously distributing sweets to kids and a cake cutting.

The event came to an end with a Vote of Thanks by the Joint Secretary, Mr. Madhav Naik, the National anthem and dinner by KS Group of Restaurant. The lightings and sound were done by Zain events, while the photography was ably clicked by Snipers Clickz.
