TKK - “RASAMANJARI-2011” celebrations held by Tulu Koota Kuwait on Friday, April 29, 2011, at the American International School, Maidan Hawally.

The beautiful classical dance presented by “Rhythm Scapes” choreographed by Ms Sangeeta Prasad provided a flying start to the “RASAMANJARI-2011” celebrations held by Tulu Koota Kuwait on Friday, April 29, 2011, at the American International School, Maidan Hawally. Tulunadu crowd turned out in large numbers to witness the melodious event. Rasamjari-2011 was inaugurated by lighting of the lamp by Chief Guests for the event Mr. Satishchandra Shetty, Mr. John Paul Fernandes, Mr. Felix D’souza Al Rathath along with Tulu Koota Kuwait Culture Secretary Ronald D’souza & President Mrs.Swarna Shetty, and other Managing Committee members.

The melodious songs by Sangeeta Balachandra, Jagdish Puttur captivated the audience and the incredible dance performance by children of “ RAK Dance Academy”, “Dhoom Boys”, “The Dancing Divas” was a treat to watch. The comedy skits by Agnello Saldhana, Avil Fernandes & Nassar Group made the audience break into splits of laughter. Singer Melwyn D’souza enthralled the audience with his lively song performances. Drums played by Sathish Bannanje revived memories of Tulunadu “ Pilivesha” and attracted the audience to the stage who danced with thrill and joy. Mimicry Artist Sudarshan charmed the viewers with his mimicry. Foot tapping numbers sung by the winners of “Gulf Voice of Mangalore” Vinay Lewis, Gladys Lorrenha and Warren D’Souza were enjoyed by one and all. Tulukoota Kuwait kids dance performance on the hit number “ Zor ka Zatka Dheerey Se Laga” won the maximum applaud and praises. This beautiful dance number was choreographed by Mrs. Shobha Bhandary. Suresh Salian who has previously served as Cultural secretary in 2009 & 2010 along with Prakash Shetty TKK talented committee member - enthralled the audience with the hit number " Ondey Ondu Sari"

The program sponsors of the day “ UAE xchange, Swiss Bell Hotel Plaza, Sanbouk International, Gulf Readymix & Concrete Co, Diva Ladies Salon, Power Controll, Al Rathath, Oriental Restaurant, Smile Computers, Jet Airways, Avanti Restaurant, Delhi Darbar were honored by presentation of memento. Artists for the event were also honored by presentation of memento.

Tulu Koota Kuwait announced the commencement of “Talent Show-2011” and invited the talented members of various age groups to enthusiastically participate by filling in the forms which will soon be available in Tulu Koota Kuwait website. The beautiful evening came to an end with vote of thanks proposed by General Secretary Harish Kaup. Back stage announcements were perfectly handled by Kripa Gatty & Smitha Manoj Shetty. Compering at the program was beautifully done by Ramesh Bhandary & Shobha Bhandary. Music for the event was provided by Adrian Gomes, and lighting & sound for the event was provided by Illuminations- Anand D’souza. Photography & Videography at the event was supported by Drishya Digitals. A beautiful brochure containing Tulukoota Kuwait donors, and supporters advertisement was distributed at the event. The brochure designing was handled by Manoj & Sushma Bangera. Slides & multimedia projection meticulously displayed by Ramesh Bhandary & Team.
