TULU KOOTA KUWAIT - 13TH ANNUAL GENERAL BODY MEETING

Tulu Koota Kuwait held its Annual General Body meeting on Friday 14th December 2012 at Indian Community School auditorium, Salmiya. Mr. Ramesh Kidiyoor was unanimously re-elected as President of “Tulukoota Kuwait” for the year 2013.

The grand evening commenced with invocation song by Mr. Santhosh Kunder followed by the traditional lighting of lamp by Managing Committee Members 2012.

Mr. Sathyanarayan Salian, General Secretary, presented the Annual Report detailing the activities organized during the year 2012. The Financial Report was presented by TKK Treasurer Mr. Vinay Kumar. Both the Reports were approved by the members of Tulu Koota Kuwait.TKK President, Mr. Ramesh Kidyoor expressed his gratitude & appreciation towards the efforts of the outgoing Committee and thanked every member for their continuous support. The Managing Committee for the year 2010 was felicitated by the Managing Committee for the year 2012. Also, the President felicitated Mr. Laxmish Ami for his spectacular stage programme “Tulu Nada Vaibava” which was held during Tulu Parba 2012. Valuable contributions of Mr. Wilson D’souza, Mr. Vinay Bhandary and Mr. Faustine Pinto in collecting the maximum funds during Tulu Parba 2012 were appreciated by presenting them with mementos.

The new Managing Committee for year 2013 was unanimously elected. Election Officer, Mr. A. K. Ravindra invited the newly elected Managing Committee members to the dais, who introduced themselves to the audience.

Tulu Koota Kuwait gave a warm but heavy hearted farewell to the outgoing General Secretary Mr. Sathyanarayan Salian who will be leaving Kuwait soon. He was felicitated by the President and Ex-Presidents of Tulu Koota Kuwait.

Various cultural programs were arranged for the evening. Spectacular solo dances by Denika D’Souza, Jolita Fernandis, Shravya, Karthikeya, Viola Martis, Arjun & Chandan followed by a Comedy dance by Lucy Aranha and Purandara Manchi entertained the audience. The Melodious songs by Purandara Manchi, Santhosh Kunder, Laveena Prapulla, Jolita Fernandis, Suresh Salian and Vichitha charmed the crowd. The stand-up comedy by Lionol Mascarenas & Team,Lucy Aranha, Purandra Manchi, Rajesh Poojary and Chandrahas Shetty regaled the audience. Towards the end the crowd got into the festive mood with Christmas Carols, welcoming Santa Claus and the ‘Baila’ dance.

The program was compered by Mr. Manoj Kumar. The A.G.M. concluded with Vote of Thanks by the newly elected General Secretary Mr. Wilson D’Souza.

Delicious dinner was served by White Rose Restaurant.

The President, Mr. Ramesh Kidiyoor called upon the Tulu Koota members to extend their whole hearted support to the new Committee.
