Nothing good about goodbyes – Goodbye Mr. Naser

Tulu Koota Kuwait bid an emotional farewell to Mr. Nasser Puthiyaveetal, an active member of Tulu Koota, who has decided to leave Kuwait after 22 years of stay to continue his life with his family members in his homeland Mangalore, on 7 March 2014 at the Salmiya Play School, Rumaithiya.

Mr. Naser was honored with the traditional shawl, tray of fruits and a memento by the President Mr. Tharendra Shettigar, Vice President Mr. Harish Bhandary and the Advisors Mr. Sudhakar Shetty and Mr. Ramesh Kidiyoor.

Mr. Tharendra Shettigar, speaking very high about Mr. Nasser, said that he was an asset to our association and wished him every success in his future endevors. Mr. Sudhakar Shetty, Mr. Satishchandra Shetty, Mr. Ramesh Kidiyoor and Mr. Harish Bhandary appreciated selfless service rendered by him to the Koota in particular and Tulu culture in general, calling him perfect example of a social worker who propagated religious harmony.

There were words of admiration and heartfelt wishes expressed by many committee members like Ronald D’Souza, Paustine Pinto, Suresh Salian, Vishveshwar Karkal, Govind Babu, Suresh Shyam Rao, Janet D’Souza, Manoj Shetty, and Rajesh Poojary.

Touched by the love expressed by everyone, Mr.Naser told that he has enjoyed every minute he worked for Tulu Koota Kuwait and that he will forever remember the association, as his heart will always remain in Tulu Koota Kuwait.

Mr. Madhav Naik compered the program nicely. Vote of Thanks was proposed by the Joint Secretary Lionel Mascarenhas and the program concluded with lunch from Oriental Restaurant.

Very rightly mentioned as the “Pearl of Tulu Koota Kuwait”, Mr. Nasser’s exit from Kuwait will be a big loss to the association and his pure selfless service will be extremely missed by the family of Tulu Koota Kuwait.

Tulu Koota Kuwait wishes him the very best in his future life.
